Overview
Do you want to build fun, online games that lead in emerging digital markets, harness the latest technologies, and benefit from the support of an industry leader?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Software Engineer to join our successful remote team and help shape the next generation of interactive games for mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the server-side game logic that powers our web-based casino games. Working remotely, you’ll collaborate with talented teams across the U.K., Serbia, Poland, Romania, and the U.S. to deliver engaging, high-quality experiences for a global audience.

What will you do
• Build server-side game logic components and simulations for real-money, online, gambling-style games.
• Collaborate with front-end game client developers to define response structures to maximize player experience.
• Work closely with mathematicians to evaluate and implement game feature feasibility.
• Design and develop software hands-on, with a focus on maintainable and efficient code.
• Solve unique technical challenges using our proprietary rules engine.
• Design and develop internal tools to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency.
• Write unit tests and participate in peer code reviews.
About you
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Proficiency in Java, including the core language, platform, and Java EE technologies.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and design patterns.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a distributed team.
• Logical problem-solving mindset.
Nice to have
• Strong foundation in mathematics.
• Experience with build automation tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or ANT.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
• Familiarity with C/C++.
• Experience designing and building developer tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• A relevant bachelor's degree — though a passion for development matters most.
