IGT is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support our Rhode Island operations, providing hands-on technical support and customer-focused service across the gaming floor at Bally's Tiverton. In this highly dynamic role, you’ll be part of the on-site support team responsible for keeping the gaming floor running at its best. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gaming machines while also assisting guests and collaborating with casino staff to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience. Your work directly shapes the player experience and reflects IGT’s commitment to dependable performance and exceptional service—continuing our legacy as a trusted leader in gaming technology.

This is a second-shift position (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) supporting evening casino operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned section of the gaming floor, responding to routine service calls and ensuring efficient operation of gaming machines from multiple vendors.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and resolve technical problems on gaming machines to ensure consistent uptime and reliable performance.
  • Engage professionally with casino staff and guests to ensure a positive, courteous, and service-focused experience.
  • Perform basic part replacements and repairs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support various projects including property upgrades and equipment enhancements.
  • Maintain data lines and fiber optics to support system connectivity.
  • Navigate audit screens and system menus to obtain and verify information.
  • Document all calls, repairs, and preventive maintenance on log sheets and through established reporting tools.
  • Follow established escalation procedures for issues that require additional support.
  • Share knowledge with internal and external customers on products and technical improvements.
  • Follow documentation, policies, and procedures while maintaining compliance with facility processes and safety guidelines.

Qualifications


Education and Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical or IT-related training or education is a plus.

Skills and Experience

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation for this role is $22.50/hr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
