Responsibilities
Generates test documentation and executes tests to verify that the system performs as required. Works independently, and is the primary contact with development services. Organizes, designs plans, directs, and assists in all the activities required for the test effort.
- Design and implement robust and scalable test scenarios and automation with a high level of reusability.
- Work to minimize manual testing by identifying high-ROI test cases suitable for automation.
- Work closely with development teams to create best development and automation strategies across the organization.
- Actively explore industry QA trends and apply learning to continually improve and evolve QA practices within the organization.
- Develop test documentation and perform functional tests to verify target software performs as required.
- Coordinate testing efforts with distributed teams located in different countries and time zones.
- Contribute meaningfully to a team-based environment deeply rooted in continuous learning, teaching, and sharing information.
- Be an active, curious participant and listener in daily meetings and discussions.
- Record, report, and track defects to accurately depict the status of product being tested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry experience
- 2+ years’ experience in developing automated black and/or white box testing with some of the common white-box test frameworks in the industry today.
- Programming experience with one or more of the following languages and technologies: Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, C/C++, HTML/5, Angular, CSS, REST, C#.
- Strong trouble-shooting skills, and capable of reviewing source code and developing functional tests against it.
- Experience in planning test effort for large-scale complex projects.
- Have a passion for software quality and is a champion for the end user.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,990/yr - $96,845/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
