Overview
Position Summary:
The Manager, Physical Security is responsible for safeguarding IGT’s facilities, employees, and visitors by overseeing all aspects of physical security operations. This role enforces security policies, manages critical security systems, and leads a team of Supervisors and Officers to ensure a safe and secure environment. The manager also coordinates responses to major security incidents and maintains relationships with external agencies and vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to IGT security policies by employees, contractors and visitors
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security Supervisors and Officers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure proper performance
• Manage and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities
• Provide training to security staff on procedures and emergency response plans
• Recommends physical security strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Coordinates with local law enforcement and emergency services during security incidents as needed
• Maintain and update data on internal Security sites
• Maintains accurate records and prepares detailed reports on security related incidents and activities
• Manages key vendor relationships
• Oversee other special projects and strategic initiatives that Physical Security becomes involved with
• Potential to perform additional duties as requested
• Travel as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
• 10+ years of physical security or law enforcement leadership
Technical Proficiency:
• Proficient in Windows and all basic Windows applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Project Planning/Management of cross-team initiatives
• Vendor Management
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
• Effective communication skills to interact with personnel, department leaders, and external companies
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills during emergencies
• Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
Work Ethic & Personal Attributes:
• Ability to assess security situations and identify risks
• Understand compliance, legal and ethical frameworks including privacy laws and security best practices

That’s why our starting compensation range is $76,179 to $180,000, with room to go higher or lower depending on the full picture. We also follow all local pay laws and collective bargaining agreements, so everything’s above board.
