As a Design Project Management Intern at IGT, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the coordination and execution of high-impact game development projects. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, Producers, and multidisciplinary game teams—including Artists, Developers, Mathematicians, and Test Engineers—you’ll contribute to the planning, tracking, and organization of key project milestones.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to learn how immersive gaming products are developed and delivered in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment. You’ll participate in team meetings, help maintain project documentation, and assist with tracking timelines and deliverables. With mentorship and training, you’ll build skills in communication, project coordination, and game development processes.
What You'll Do
- Shadow senior project leads and learn how to manage risk, timelines, and inter-team communication.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, planning meetings, and retrospectives.
- Assist in maintaining project schedules, notes, and key documentation.
- Help track project progress, team deliverables, and resource usage.
- Collaborate with artists, engineers, and producers to help ensure smooth workflows and task alignment.
- Support project managers in coordinating game development activities from concept to delivery.
- Gain exposure to tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Learn how a global game studio operates, from regulatory submissions to market launches.
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in Game Design, Project Management, Business, or related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in game development and cross-functional team collaboration.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with project managemetn or collaboration tools is a plus (Excel, Trello, JRIA).

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation for this position is $21/hr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
