As a Security Systems Engineer at IGT, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the service and maintenance of our global physical security systems, driving process improvements and designing architectural enhancements to strengthen our security posture, and managing partnerships with external security integrators across all sites worldwide. This position is a key member of the Physical Security team and reports to the Senior Director of Security & Risk.

  • Maintain the integrity and security of all physical security system solutions
  • Manage daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes  
  • Manage projects and the installation of new servers, rebuild existing servers and workstations.
  • Configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, etc. in accordance with standard requirements
  • Recommends physical security technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
  • Responsible for adherence to corporate departmental policies, procedures and standards (including design and coding standards)
  • Oversee and perform user management activities to include systems user accounts, authentication and group management audits.
  • Manage daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.  
  • Manage projects and the installation of new servers, rebuild existing servers and workstations.
  • Configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, etc. in accordance with standard requirements.
  • Manage and perform system software upgrades including planning / scheduling, testing, and coordination.
  • Perform data backups and recoveries as part of Disaster Recover Continuity.
  • Provides after hours support as required.
  • Potential to perform additional duties as requested.
  • Oversee other special projects and strategic initiatives that Security & Risk becomes involved with.
  • Position requires travel.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • At least 2 years in a leadership or project-management capacity.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience integrating physical security systems, including:
      • DMP alarm systems
      • Milestone video surveillance platforms
      • Hirsch (or equivalent) access control solutions
      • Aiphone intercom systems
      • Secure door hardware and keyway technologies

  • Technical Skills & Certifications
    • Proficiency with Windows 10 and Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016 R2, 2019)
    • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities in multi-user, high-pressure environments
    • Familiarity with asset management and change-control processes
    • Experience in business continuity planning, disaster-recovery implementation, and cross-team project coordination
    • Vendor management and stakeholder-engagement expertise

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,177/yr - $156,700/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
