Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic SQA engineer to join us in delivering the next generation of digital casino products for a worldwide audience. We are a passionate team, responsible for ensuring our games meet the highest quality standards throughout the developments process, pushing core technologies and innovations, and expanding our reach into the realm of third-party development as well. We are responsible for both internal and external initiatives involving central technology, advancement of tools used across multiple studios around the globe and increasing our overall game output via third-party game development.
Being part of a potentially distributed team, your main task will be driving the execution of test cases that further our mission to deliver high quality industry-leading games with ever improving efficiency. The focus of the SQA Engineer role will be functional testing of online casino games (planning, execution, reporting, verification and signing-off internally/externally developed casino products), as well as the affiliated GDK which is being developed for wider internal/external usage. While the core of our internal team operates on Central European Time (CET) time, we are not all co-located, and our footprint extends across multiple locations in the USA, UK, Serbia, Romania, and China.
We believe in fostering a positive atmosphere, promoting teamwork, and valuing cooperation among all team members.
We deliver games in a highly regulated industry, so love for details, an “always learning” mindset, and a respect for compliance-related issues are key to your success. If you have the energy, passion, and experience to join us in this fast-paced, high-complexity, and rapidly growing market, we would love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive functional testing of online casino games to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with specifications.
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation to validate that systems meet defined requirements.
- Utilize a range of internal tools and frameworks for both manual and automated testing processes.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of QA procedures, test strategies, and validation checklists.
- Manage and maintain stable and secure test environments for all QA activities.
- Identify, document, and track software defects; perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Actively participate in project and team meetings, contributing to planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks; contribute to the resolution of project blockers.
- Work cross-functionally to enhance QA processes, improve workflow efficiency, and support overall project delivery.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the QA Manager or direct supervisor on testing progress, issues, and quality metrics.
About You
- Deep knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices across functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke testing.
- Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking skills, attention to details and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to identify subtle issues in UI, UX, performance, and gameplay logic.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic iGaming environment.
- Skilled at communicating clearly with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align on requirements and expectations (English proficiency).
What We’d Prefer
- Technical education, i.e., bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., software engineering) or equivalent experience.
- At least 5+ years of experience as tester in a software development company.
- Passion for gaming and a good understanding of industry trends.
- Familiarity with real money wagering games, RNG systems, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
- Genuine interest in web development.
- ISTQB.
Bonus: Interest or Experience in Web Development
We're looking for a QA specialist who is not only passionate about quality but also has a genuine interest in web development. While this is primarily a QA role, we highly value candidates who have some hands-on experience with full-stack technologies—particularly Node.js and React—and are open to occasionally contributing to the development and maintenance of our internal QA tools and dashboards.
This is not a full-time development role, but it's a great fit for someone who enjoys coding, problem-solving, and improving tooling to support QA workflows.
