Position Overview
The IGT Advantage® Systems team is providing enterprise-class solutions for managing all aspects of casino gaming operations. Through the use of leading-edge hardware and software solutions, we aim to provide new ways that casino operators can interact with their customers and manage their daily businesses.
As part of this effort, we are seeking a Software QA Engineer who can contribute to the testing of such innovative solutions within IGT systems and deliver a world class customer experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for quality and be familiar with testing of gaming products.
What will you do
• Work closely with Development teams: assess overall system quality
• Executing manual test cases against the approved plan.
• Learn and understand the product functionalities, architecture, and design
• Learn the Systems QA processes, practices, and tools in use
• Writing clear and concise defect reports
• Provide trainings and business knowledge transfer to internal teams and client onsite
• Testing on casino slot machines in office premises
• Writing and maintaining testing documentation
Must Have
• Up to 2 years of manual software testing experience
• Basic knowledge of quality assurance processes and methodologies with strong troubleshooting skills
• Must be detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry experience
• Ability to run simple SQL database queries
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development cycle
• Experience working with the following technologies: Linux, Docker, Postman, Kubernetes
• Experience with tools (Jira, Confluence)
