Responsibilities
This position participates as a game team member and designs and builds pay tables from game specifications for all new and modified games and provides all mathematical calculations and testing for game development. This position is responsible for providing statistical information by jurisdiction.
- Participates with game teams in building B+ or better games.
- Participates in team brainstorming sessions to develop new genre games, never seen before in the industry.
- Participates in deciding the content and timing of new software releases and provides accurate time estimates for the development of game pay tables.
- Designs and builds pay tables from game specifications provided by Game Designers for all new and modified games.
- Calculates the value of probability and mathematical equations for new and modified games.
- Works with the Game Designers to develop reel strips.
- Approves all mathematical equations and market requirements for final pay tables and reels.
- Designs and codes simulation programs for all new and modified games.
- Runs simulation programs and document the simulation results. (Regular simulation program, Burn simulation program and Profile Burn simulation program)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics
- Minimum of two to four years work experience with a Bachelor's degree or up to two years of work experience with a Master's degree
- Knowledge of C and/or C++
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and database management software
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
